This reminds me of how just all of the black mages knew they were doing bad but they continued because they wanted to live so the betrayed the others in the Black Mage Village.
The Method of the Horse-
This part makes me think of how Zidane, Vivi, and Freya snuck onto the Red Rose to get to Alexandria.
The Path of Manas Master-
I have no idea, maybe how you go to the Black Mage Village to find an answer.
