That kind of cliche is OK, it's pretty standard for D&D. My major pet peeve is Cloud-like storylines, those piss me off.
Hero, I linked to the SRD in my posts, that's a good tool to use for character generation, all the rules are there.
The two presented characters are more or less acceptable, although it'd be nice if Morphius' backstory was completed (it looks like it's missing a few words).

On Ardelaine, the goddess you want is Ehlonna (Mielikki is the Faerun equivalent and I'm using a straight Greyhawk setting).
Also, you don't seem to have spent much of your wealth. I'd at least get a +3 strength composite longbow, possibly enchanted, a mithral chainshirt, and maybe some other magic items.
Im interested in joining... but at a later date as well, as I am currently involved in 2 campaigns IRL (seems a little ironic to say...) including one I am running myself. Ill certainly keep you posted, and if you need any help monster building and what not I am certainly willing to help, just PM me if needed.

I'll have more distinct info on the guilds and districts after I'm finished with finals. Also, I want your opinions on the following rules:
Zynshyr and Superior Weapons and Armor
This is a material I crafted as both a balancing mechanism to give Fighters some options against full casters at high levels and a flavorful object. I would like to have it made available (both to the party and to people you may be fighting). What say you all?
Oh, and keep those characters coming. The sooner they're all in, the sooner I can start.
