I was thinking of holding off on buying a DS and FF3 for a couple more years, but after seeing this trailer I think I'll just buy those and IV when IV comes out

the characters are taller than the ones in FF3 so they're a little bit more proportional but the graphics style is still the same as FF3.

Considering that Matrix software (who worked on FFIII DS) is working on this remake, I wouldn't consider the graphic style to be a 'rip-off'. Furthermore, the models in FFIV DS have four body parts as opposed to FFIII DS's three.

I'm glad I have my DS then. I have FFIIIDS, but I never really got around to playing it. I'm looking forward to IVDS very much, the game was already great but the new (or should it be called old) script will hopefully make it better.

Can we assume they are going to go 3D with V and VI? I want this but don't want this at the same time, VI just doesn't seem like it would work in 3D.

I think the PS1 version had some 3D scenes. It would be great if the whole game looked like them

Can't wait for this game. I was unimpressed by the trailer, but i'm loving the screens. Final Fantasy II DS Visuals + Final Fantasy IV= Love.
