I don't know if I wasn't clear or if you were reading wrong. I don't hate any mainstream Final Fantasy games. I don't like the Tactics games, but I understand those who do. I'm by no means a basher.

I just want to clarify that when you do with a game what they did with Final Fantasy III and are doing with Final Fantasy IV, it just seems like a completely different game. I'm not against the new game. I just wish the original were available. I understand people who like these DS versions, but that's not me. I prefer classic style for classic games.

As for handhelds. I don't like them. That's me. You can like them all you want. I don't think less of you for liking them and you shouldn't think less of me for not liking them. As a person who doesn't like handhelds, if a game is only available on a handheld, in my mind, it's not available. Therefore, Final Fantasy III (to me anyway) wasn't released in the US. I don't have a huge problem with playing a fan-translated ROM, but I still prefer consoles. I have a right to hold these opinions as a gamer, and I'm offended at your insults implying that I don't. We all have different tastes. And that's exactly the reason that every Final Fantasy game (or any game in general) ever released had some people that didn't like it. I'm not saying I don't like Final Fantasy III as I've never had the chance to play it. I just prefer to play it in classic style and not on a handheld. I hope these random thoughts weren't to jumbled to make out my point as I don't really feel like arranging them in a linear line of thought.
