For those of you who have PS3's

Can you play ps1 games on them and do they shop well particulary the FFs?

Of what I've heard, it plays most PS2 and PS1 games, but not some FF's for some bizarre reason.

I think he means FFVII-IX. Someone else mentioned they that they couldn't play those titles anymore despite owning a PS3...

The last time I checked it, the FF games did have some issues though I don't think any of them were major and the games would be playable. Since then they had a backwards compatability update though, so I can't say if they've been fixed or not, but I do know that update fixed the majority of issues present in the backwards compatability. If they haven't fixed them yet though, I would expect another firmware update sometime in the future to fix the remaining issues.

FFVIII has noticeable issues, definately. Thats the only game you should worry about Final Fantasy wise, I heard V had issues but I didnt notice any.
