    Default Motherboards.

As I further progress into the 3D world, I am finding my P4 2.6GHZ processor to be a real pain in the butt. Obviously, it's fairly slow, so I was wondering what would be a good motherboard to get that will allow me to upgrade my CPU as well as being able to use my new AGP and DDR400 equipment?

At the moment, my motherboard only supports a really old processing chip, so 3.0GHZ would seriously cost me $400AUD, which is out of the question! Can I even get a dual core-compatible motherboard that supports AGP?

    Edit:
I was thinking this for a motherboard:
    Asrock 4CoreDual-VSTA LGA775, VIA PT880 Ultra, DDR-400 & DDR2-667, PCI-Ex & AGP8x, SATA, RAID, LAN, 8 Chl, ATX (69420) | Techbuy Australia

    And this for a processor:
    Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 (2.0GHz), LGA775, 2MB Cache, 800Mhz FSB, ATX (71502) | Techbuy Australia

    Edit2:
My friend was saying Quad-Core was going down in price in August. Which would be absolutely fantastic, but I doubt they'd make motherboards that supports quad-core and AGP. =\
