    Default NBA Finals 2007

Who will win the ultimate prize? Will the west once again fall to an Eastern team or will they crush them?

    Spurs or Cleavland?

Cavs beat the spurs both times in the regular season. Cavs coach was an assistant coach under the current coach of the Spurs. This will hopefully be a good series but I don't know if it will be as good as the Eastern Conference Finals. That was a good series.

I am going to go with the Cavs. Spurs might have great defense but Lebron has shown that great defense can't stop him. He will find a way to win from sinking everything to passing the ball away. He has even been shooting well from the free throw line during the playoffs...at least better. He is 76% in the playoffs compared to 69% during the season.

I am rooting for Anyone But The Spurs, which is in this case Cleveland.

Lebron is really growing up, but the Spurs will take the Cavs in 5 (6 if the Cavs really play their hearts out at home). The Spurs have the experience, the poise, and the best overall player in the NBA on their side. I think the Cavs will put up more of a fight than it may seem, but the Spurs will still prevail.

And regular season doesn't matter at all. Every Finals team that swept the other Finals team throughout the regular season eventually lost the championship series. The Spurs just look too damn good for anyone to beat.

    1 down, 3 to go!

The city of Cleveland has been cursed since 1964, which was the last time a team from that city has ever won a championship!

Remember The Drive? The Fumble? The Shot? The unnamed Game 7 World Series Loss in 1997? And other playoff mishaps that cost Cleveland-based teams in the postseason? I say this will be no different.

The Curse of Jim Brown continues...

San Antonio will destroy Cleveland. At most I expect one close game.

You got that right! And I hope Cleveland falls short once again, which has basically been the story of that city's sports teams for the last 43 years!

I would very much prefer the Cavaliers to win, because I really don't like the Spurs. In truth though, I don't think it's LeBron's year yet, and the Spurs will be too much. That's very unfortunate.

Cleveland are playing at home aren't they? Well the scoreline deficit isn't impossible to bring back. I think the Cavaliers have every opportunity to win the game, and the finals.

    I'm rooting for Cleveland.

Well, it's not my fault your favorite team(s) didn't win it all now, is it? There's a reason they couldn't get the job done: because they suck!

Or because his team didn't get one of their guys to commit a flagrant foul on their opposing teams in the playoffs, resulting in two of that teams' best players getting suspended while only a bench player gets lost from his team.

    Well, and they suck.

A little from column A and a little from column B. Mostly from Flagranting Column A My team is good and is and the edge of obtaining greatness.

Man, the East is getting almost as pathetic as the NFC in the NFL. I'm confident that any of the top four seeds of the Western Conference could've beaten the Cavs. The Pistons are starting to implode, the Heat are too old, and the Bulls are good, but not yet great.

Not to mention BOTH Greg Oden and Kevin Durant are coming to the West (Portland and Seattle). The NBA needs to figure out some kind of answer in match-ups or every year the finals will be this lopsided and boring.
