I have never seen a more accurate description of this place.

It's most like 4 out of those. Although a mention needs to be made of the new people that seem to appear out of nowhere an pretend like they've been here for ages to fit in. Once they start pretending they understand the fogey jokes, they really should be banned. An also the uninteresting people that stand out so little, you're barely aware of their existence, yet they complain about other people not making worthwhile interesting posts, an how their making the place go downhill.

I joined around the stage 2 era. Then roto13 joined.

EoFF was at #4 in 2002 or 2003. It doesn't fit any of those descriptions these days.

I think we are #1 now. The only FF forum around.

I just logged into FF14 and was in the Linkshellf EoFF was in....its been 10 years since i last played so almost no one is on anymore. But it did get me to check it out here. I remember being here so often in the past.
