You can learn you social skills in school. You can develop those said skills in a home environment. When you step into the real world, you might not know how to respond to certain things. An example is the kid in this video, he doesn't know how to respond to the joke the anchor makes towards him.

Being homeschooled doesn't mean avoiding the real world. You don't need school to socialise.

But you can't say that school doesn't develop those said skills?

I agree it does. But that's not always for the best. Schools are breeding grounds for unfavourable behaviour.

But isn't that just experiencing the outside world at a younger age. The world is a breeding ground for unfavourable behaviour, but you just to have to step up and take it like a man.
