I was just gonna make a post about that.

Apparently, she was screaming and bawling her eyes out when the judge ordered her back to jail. Ironic, because she'd just said back in May that she expected to be treated the same as any other criminal 'cause she knows she's not above the law. Why didn't she take it like a man, then? Or, at least, a 2nd class woman instead of a sissy, spoiled, porno chick.

Paris is Ridiculous. what sort of a role model is she?

constantly crying and moaning thinking she can do what she likes. She needs to understand the reality of things. being a celebrity should have little or no effect on how you are imprisoned.

While she was being taken away by the police to be re-prisoned aparently she was shouting "Its not right!" and "Mum!".

    some things in this world...

In seriousness, I find it unpleasant that she's had her case changed around, and then sent back. Make your mind up. The criminal justice system has a duty to be objective, and consistent. People's punishments should be what they are told it is. They shouldn't be dicked around by being released to different conditions, then put back into the previous situation, no matter who they are. It undermines the entire system.

Well, the judge never let her out. The sheriff did, and as far as I can tell he did so illegally.

Basically, when you violate probation in states with a high prisoner population, you're given a sentence, but it's automatically cut in half. For Paris, this probably would've meant twenty four days in the lock. However, your behavior while in jail, both the good and the bad, as well as any type of work detail you do can lead to an earlier or later release. 45 days means they could not keep her for longer than 45 days without another trial.

So now, she's done something to make things worse for her, she's had another hearing, and her judge said she had to serve the entire sentence. Good on him. People shouldn't get to pay their way out of their time.

I don't give a crap if it was the Pope himself, unless she had an active hand in getting released in the first place (And I don't mean feigning illness, they should be pretty damn well trained to spot that), she doesn't deserve the additional stuff surrounding "Go to jail. Actually, you can be at home for this sentence. Oh no, now you're going back to jail." if someone else has caused this.

Or rather, she might deserve it, but it's not any kind of way to run a legal system.

In all things you have a choice. She had the choice to leave, and the choice to stay. She knew what her sentence was, and she knew exactly what would happen if she violated the terms of her sentence. They make sure you understand that before they process you, and they make you sign indicating that you do understand it.

She had the choice, and she chose to violate the terms of her sentence. When you do that, you get in trouble. That's how it works, and I think that's how it should work. Now she has to serve her entire sentence for trying to get out of a measly 23 days in the lock. Just because she's stupid as well as spoiled doesn't mean she's being treated unfairly. That's just my opinion though.

Assuming she didn't feign claustrophobia, it is a pretty rotten thing to get released and to be sent back. But you know what ? She had countless chances to avoid it. And so did her parents. As my grandma used to say:

If you refuse to say NO to your child, someone else will, and they won't be as caring.

An extreme case of it happened here. Her parents didn't teach her to respect the law and were trying to cheat her out of 23 days of jail. What they ended up doing is making matters much worse for her. I hope they and Paris learn their lesson. No one is above the law.

That's all good and fine, unless she's there voluntarily. It's a great publicity, as was her "leaked" porno a couple of years ago.

I... don't honestly see what's wrong with going along with something that an official, legally appointed deputy tells you is acceptable. You can't just stroll out of prison if you feel like it guys. They have to actually LET you out. Seeing as she was released through what appeared to be legal channels, and never got an APB or the like put out on her, that would suggest to me she didn't escape - which means she did get out through legal channels, which means she's not at fault if those legal channels were wrong.
