On the other hand, one could also say that the Wii will recieve more exclusive titles because 3rd Party companies can find ways to release a system for both the PS3 and the X-Box 360 with little difference, whereas with the Wii they must make ammendments not only control wise, but power wise.

They should sticky a console talk thread and ban anyone who makes a thread about it afterwards.

I would have to slightly disagree with this. In my opinion, once you get away from the first party titles, there isn't much worthwhile coming to the Wii. And given how dissapointing most of the Gamecubes first party titles were, I won't buy a Wii without playing Nintendo's titles first hand.

I could list at least a dozen worthwhile exclusives for the PS3 that won't be appearing on any other console, but frankly, I can't be bothered to do it again. Point it your wrong, and you can do your own research to see why.

On the same note, the 360 doesn't really have many more worthwhile exclusives, as some former major exclusives such as Kane & Lynch have gone multiplatform as well. Fact of the matter is, both consoles have quite a few exclusives, and really no more or less than the Xbox and PS2 had at ths point in their life cycles if you stop and look at things objectively for a second.

It's modeled after existing programs in which personal computers process high-volume data for signs of extraterrestrial life and other tasks. PCs already contribute to the Stanford medical research program.

Sony said data processing time can be up to 20 times faster with a global network of PS3s, which are fitted with advanced Cell processors that can perform billions of calculations per second.

A global network of PS3s does not mean that one PS3 can fold faster than a PC.

IGN: Folding@home Details - this is a better article since it flat out says it. Not to mention the stats on the Folding@home site. You've got 1/10th the number of PS3's compared to Windows PC's doing 3 times the number of terraflops. Now there are some Folding@home calculations that the PC's do better than the PS3's, but those are kept out of the PS3 downloads. The stuff the PS3 is good at processing however it does far better than a PC.

Because PS3 has a hidden potential, i.e. a LOT of firepower, while Wii is a read book. That, by no means, means that Wii is a bad console.
