I'm suprised I over looked this thread for so long (I realize it might be a revivial)

It was vitilago (sp?) have scene documented proof about this as it has happened to people other than Michael. There is no possible way for someone to change their colouring threw surgery thhough I am not denying he has had surgery - he has and I fail to see how he thinks he can convince us he hasn't.

He first got vitilago on his hand sometime during the making of Thirller - hence the sudden appearence of his glove (just the one) he eventually got spots of white on his face, but they were small enough to be hidden threw make up. This is howver very time consuming so he often refused to do so and use other subtle methods of hiding them (like say, a surgery mask :rolleyes2 ).

But of course, something like that won't be hidden for long so he had to admit what was happening, it all just went OTT because he had already made a name for himself as a surgery obsessive, and people where currently obsessed with the whole "Whacko-Jacko" thing.

If MJ had never got vitilago but kept his surgery he'd look how does now, just black.
