    Default California - [Photography]

The Boyfriend and I took a 12 hour trip down the west coast and saw a good chunk of the beauty that California has to offer.

Just some photos I took along the way. Most were taken in a moving car.

the first and last are my fav. The lighting and colors are beautiful. Those colored beaches can be so rare in CA xD. Especially around the LA parts.

Those are beautiful. How do you get that black out kind of effect to your photography? Is it photoshopped or do you have some sort of crazy lens?

In any case, my favorite is the field. Do you use polarizing filters to make the colors that saturated?

Absolutely beautiful. The lighting in the second last is just wonderful.

I don't use any filters. The colors were just really beautiful that day.

By the black out effect, do you mean the vignetting? I like to add a vignette to certain photos using photoshop to draw more attention to the center of the photos. But that kind of effect can also be done without photoshop, especially if you're using really wide angle lenses, or a Holga.

The 4th one is really nice! Very Romantic, if you ask me, but no one did so...
