I think stupid is the incorrect term. I would agree that the majority of Americans are ignorant and undereducated. The education system in this country has degenerated in the past forty years to the point, where a community college has to offer courses in counting, basic math, and even how to read.
I tire of this country's politics and materialistic nature. However, I am unable to leave, and if given a choice I do not know where I would relocate. Our philosophy has spread throughout the world like a virus, and so it would be a waste of resources to bother moving.
Also just because we are prosperous compared to other countries does not mean that we have to love it here. There are still many problems in this country that are difficult to stomach, problems the common people do not have a snowball's chance in hell solving. So I understand the frustration and even hatred that the citizenry of my country feel.
Making statements like "I hate America" and "Americans are stupid," are irrational and childish. Why bother arguing with cross statements made by a mind of a six year old?
