For one thing, I am not in full support of what our state is doing. What I am saying, is tucked away in a little piece of my coherent paragraphs called the Main Idea. I am basically arguing against a blanket statement that is hypocritical as well. On whom says that there population is impervious to whatever blood we have spilled, when whining on a message board seems to vindicate a neutral stance. :/

Also take in consideration that the European states have confessed their deeds; the borders of the ex-imperial states are now open to the citizens of the ex-colonial regions, the imperialism is regarded as the exploitation of other nations. -This- is what we write in our history books. We have admitted and learned from our mistakes. We try to correct them!
Really? That seems a mite silly. Especially with UK backing and support we have received. Perhaps a ruse, perhaps not. This is part of a latter point though. As I am more looking at societies and affirmations of social governments, not specifically lol America is dumb.

Now the US on the other hand is freeing Iraq from the evil dictator Saddam Hussein and is building a pipeline. This reminds me awfully of the Britain building the rail-roads through Africa back in the 18th century.

don't insinuate points or force your views of my argument forward. The question mark is fine, the accusation is not. I am saying, that society as a whole has it's cycles. I really do not think that one must be the wiser to fall out of these pot holes. American's are not stupid, but often misinformed. When a power bends it's way in the way it does, no wit can alone can save someone from being deceived. It is relatively simple mathematics, that one one larger value, can out weight the Average, no matter how relatively smart the mean is. That, right there is my point.
