The Price of Right is NO MORE (as of Friday)

I remember watching the price is right for years during the summer. Such a great show it twas. It is a shame to see Barker retire but it had to happen eventually. I would rather see him retire and enjoy the rest of his life rather than continue to do this show day in and day out. Sometimes it is just time.

I am waiting for the day when Pat and Vanna quit wheel of fortune and Alex quits Jeopardy. Those people are the face of those game shows as well. While no where near as charismatic or as beloved as Bob it will still be sad when it happens.

During a tv interview Bob said he was going to miss getting a standing ovation every time he walked on stage, so now whenever he walks into a room his house maid Mercedes has to give him a standing ovation
