Well, I won MLTB Homer and I REALLY wasn't expecting that at all so this has been a good ciddies for me Seems june ciddies are the only time I win.

EDIT: Here's the elusive Most Missed Member speech. I managed to skip over it while compiling all of the speeches in a word document. My sincerest apologies Neel.

There is an overwhelming sense of community and friendship that has developed over the years here. It is undeniable. There are incredible people within this community who have shaped it to what it is today. There are people here who have touched other people's lives; there are people who have become friends, lovers, and partners in crime.

And there are people that leave. Some people gradually slip into the shadows without a trace, and it is not until later that we realize that they are gone. Some people leave with a bang, dying to be remembered by those who they are leaving. Some people simply vanish one day, leaving nothing but questions and broken hearts. Regardless of how people leave, when we miss them we acknowledge that they have taken a part of our heart with them. We hope against all odds that these people return, knowing full well that their bonds with us are only secondary to their bonds to their immediate reality.

By nominating the following people for this award we have already recognized our personal and communal bonds with them. We have recognized that these people, for better or for worse, were an integral piece of the community fabric weaved here. Without these presences, we feel as if the community is incomplete. We feel as if we are missing a friend, or an enemy, or some other important pillar of our world. You may not miss all of the nominees, you may not even miss the winner, but what stands is you missed someone, and you missed that someone enough to nominate or vote for them.

Yet for the sake of tradition, or for the sake of statistics, or for both, someone chooses to count how many people miss each nominee, call them "votes", and declare the nominee with the most votes the most missed of all.
