KHI: What did you choose?

Well, in the beginning of KHI, you had to choose either:

The sword
The staff
The shield

I choose the Shield, you get scan and guard early on.

The Sword, obviously, since I attack enemies like crazy.

And I sacrificed the Shield, since I was pretty good at dodging attacks and didn't need defense.

It was far more useful in KHII.

I chose the Shield, and got rid of the Sword. I usually pick the Shield in the Kingdom Hearts games.

I always pick staff and give up the sword. <3 It's the best thing ever when you have 11+ MP and you get to spam the hell out of Fire.

I always choose the sheild and sacrafice the sword. It is soo uch fun to beat up heartless with a little sheild.

I usually pick the sword, because it's best for attack. And this game is just X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X and everything is dead.

In the original I chose the staff my first time around. A majority of the game is easy as hell if you just spam thunder. By the time one reaches the point where spells become less effective, one should be high enough level to handle it anyway. On subsequent playthroughs, I tried out both the sword and shield.

I've never chosen anything but the sword in Kingdom Hearts II. I use magic only when absolutely necessary. The only two spells that I've found particularly useful in that game are (obviously) cure and reflect.

I picked the shield. I think I went the way so that all my stats were an even 3, but I can't remember what I sacrificed to do so.
