why I should drop $35 to buy this game and have to fight dungeons as a party of frogs.
I just bought this.... well, last week. I am hooked. Fighting dungeons as frogs/mini is bloody annoying... until i realised you only need to be a frog/mini to get in the dungeon then you can change back!
Buy it because it will keep you entertained for £20 plus hours. A book or dvd will give you a few hours at most... oh and its fun

Actually there is about 2 dungeons where you will have to fight through Minified (You can run >___> or Nuke wh0re with MagicDD).
The Job System is kinda wierd... The HP stat stays when transitioning from job to job... And there is no real customization within jobs.
It is a really really awesome piece of fun though!

~Unei and Dorga
~Various Airships!
~An entire underwater world to Explore (There are like 3 or 4 locations to find with Mini and a certain tunnel to...)
~Sub-quests!
~Probably an oversmurf of things to do with having Wifi connection
~Brilliant set up for an epic quest.
~Refia Kitty Magician :3
~Oh yeah and the gameplay is pretty well balanced and engaging to an extent.
are the characters actually interesting unlike the original? does Princess Sara take off her dress?
Why shouldn't you want to pay $35 to play through dungeons as frogs?

You don't even have to play through a dungeon as frogs. Only enter it, then change back. There are dungeons in which you have to be mini, yeah, but then you can still count on black magic or a Thief to run away.
Just give it a try.
do you get prizes when you finish the game? I want prizes.

The characters do have quite a bit more character development than in the original, but nothing comparable to something like FFVI or VII. Still, the characters sure are cute.
And Princess Sara is hardly wearing a dress already.
Buy it. Now.
A compelling argument, to be sure.
I have some more freetime starting this weekend. Maybe I will.
