    Each one he gave the power to represented one or two of the Seven deadly sins.

    Vanderkaum was Pride and maybe even Wrath

    Stone was Lust and Envy

    Shakhan was Greed

    Anyone else noticed that? With all the religious references, I doubt it was coincidence.
