Default AdBlock Fails as Hard as Your Face

I installed AdBlock for Firefox 'cause Seanie said to, and it doesn't work. When I go to add an ad to it, it says "Okay, you can add it but AdBlock is disabled so it isn't going to do anything until you enable AdBlock, dummy."

So I got to my add-ons and it says AdBlock is enabled. So I disable it and then enable it again. And it's still out to make me sad.

    Someone make it fixed.

And, yes, I did check to be sure it says it's compatible with my version of FireFox.

Now I have a lot more filters on the list, but it's still insisting it's disabled.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing too.

Shlup you're a dumb. Enabling it on the extensions page means that the extension is active.

You have to go down in your status bar and do it inside the extension.

You have to turn on the main power supply before you can turn on the electric fence to keep the velociraptors out.

Oooooh, there's a button there. I didn't see the menu bar at the top of the AdBlock window previously.

Yams must've hid it from me.

PithHelmet blocks most ads. It's not quite as straight forward as adblockplus (or as omnipresent)

Meh, where's the fun in downloading the lists? It's much more fun blocking the ads away yourself. Especially since you're allowed to use regular expressions.

I didn't mind the ads so much at first, until I got one that slides across the screen and blocks your view of the page! I just got Firefox and I thought I may as well get the adblocker while I'm at it. The only problem I've seen is that some things are misaligned, but it's hardly noticeable.
