Flash animations on Nesticle ROMS...

First off, some facts:

*I use a Dell Dimension XPS R450 from 1998
*I use a Nesticle emulator that works well

I use to play the Dragon Warrior games on this emulator, and you might know that using a spell makes the screen flash.
Anyway, for some reason the emulator refuses to show those flash animations on DW1 and DW2, but when I start playing DW3 it suddenly shows flash animations like crazy.

How is this possible?
How can my ancient computer handle flash animations for the technically superior DW3, if it can't do it on its predecessors?

No, not yet.
But it seems to me that the trouble lies in the ROM files, as one of them do fine in something that the others obviously cannot handle.

Oh well, off to the Nesticle website I am!

NESticle is a thing of the past man. I'd recommend you switch to a more compatible/up-to-date emulator, such as NESter. That's the one I use and I've yet to find a single game it doesn't emulate perfectly.

If you think the roms the problem, go look at other rom sites and compare the rom file sizes.
