My new challenge

So here is going to be my challenge, im going to hold a poll for the most useless character and with the result im going to do a solo challenge. so if you select Aerith then at the end of disk 1 I will go with the second most useless character on the list.

your reasons as to why the character you choose is the most useless would be helpful =D

Cait Sith is nothing to me

i choose vincent. although the characters do differ slightly in terms of stats it's something that can easily be worked through, however if ur doing a solo with vincent, start up his limit and then start dying, there's nothing u can do about it

Apart from Cloud, there are four times when you're forced to use another character. You need Barret for the battles with Hundred Gunner/Heli Gunner and against Dyne, Tifa for the time when Cloud is in Mideel, and Cid for when Tifa stays with Cloud.

I'd say go with Tifa, since she'll be in the party for most of the game. Most would say Cait Sith is useless, but his Slot limit would make things too easy. And although Vincent's limits make you lose control, the stats boosts and HP recovery make them useful.

sounds pretty conclusive so far, but as to the battle against Hundred/Heli Gunner I plan on useing Aerith to take them down.

Oh and for those of you that think that Cait Sith would make things to easy with his limit break: I dont plan on useing it to kill any bosses.

Even if you were, you'd save time just trying to use alternate tactics to defeat them. Trying to make Game Over come out would take too long. Cait Sith does suck though, as his Limit Break usually just consists of doing a couple of thousand damage to the enemies, something a quick summon can do. No Limit Break required. He does have a lot of HP though, which might make it a bit easier.

its prolly because she has some awesome Limit Breaks, could be the fact that (SPOILER)she dies.

ok, since it seems that the majority of you have voted for Cait Sith I am going to start the challenge tonight, I will start with Cloud untill I get Aerith and stick with her untill I get Cait Sith, I will keep you updated as I go.
