    Default Average time for Memoria

About how long does it take to get through Memoria, including the fight with Hades?

Special thanks to dark_lord for the sig!

Hmmm... are there any save points? Essentially, is it possible to divide the time into memoria into segments of two hours or less each?

Special thanks to dark_lord for the sig!

There are two save points within Memoria, one at the beginning and halfway point (about). There's also a third towards the end, but that's not technically in Memoria. Hades can throw you for a loop if you're not prepared, but he can be overcome with the right setup.

And really, if you skip Hades, there's no way it should take 4+ hours to get through. There's only four bosses, some of which aren't too great, and you can flee from battles like they'll give you leprosy. Hour or two tops, depending on your levels. [NOTE: You can always come back and fight Hades, so don't think it's an imperative to do it while you're there. Backtracking to that spot isn't as time-consuming as you'd think.]

Heh... too late, I already beat it!

Hades was a pushover, but then again I overlevel.

I seem to remember some hidden/invisible savepoints (one after lich i think) that may have healed you.

You're right. There's a secret one in the Alexandria Castle room.

There's also a save point in that part where you run up some stairs in that place where all the buildings are pinkish coloured...you run inbetween some buildings on the right.....there's also another saved point around some other stairs before getting close to the spot where you climb the ladders to the Crystal World...I believe it's around the sport where you find the Rare Card Master.

I completed the game recently, and I thought the place took quite a bit of time. I can't remember the exact length of time, though. I did fight the optional boss which was Hades. The average level for my party was the low 50's for my main party (Zidane, Steiner, Amarant, and Eiko).

It took me about 3hours at least, but mostly because I leveled a bit before heading to the final boss

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

About two to three hours, I made sure to explore everywhere; and I decided to fight Hades as well. It's easy to run through it if you really want to save time, and flee from battles.
