Problem with Physical damage.

I keep getting around 300 damage with my Zidane, and his using The Ogre, and when i use Mythril Dagger, he does 100 damage. His level 19. Whenever in battles, I get back attacks, he does more damage at back attacks around 800. Could this be a glitch?

It's not a glitch, when you get into a back attack, as in when you surprise the enemy, they're not ready, and thus their defense is substancially lowered.

Is there a possible way of fixing this or do i have to restart the whole game?

What i meant was, I get the Back attacks, not the enemy. Like the enemy attacks me from behind, but i do more damage when this happens.

Well then just go with it, that's freakin' awesome considering you get in a battle like every 3 steps in this game.

I'm still annoyed though, my average damage now is around 303-354. and it might prove to have a difficult time against Amarant in Disc 2.

Have you got Zidane in the back row? Because it sounds like you have with the whole inflicting more damage when you are caught in a back attack.

you could also try changing his equipment to change stats such as strength

Yep, that must be it. Make sure that spellcasters are in the back row, and attackers in the front.
