Level: 51 (and continuing...i've had this game 2 years and played about 1 month LOL. i do have WotLK exp too.)

Armor: not much to speak of...i'm lvl 51
Jobs: Mining 255 / Skinning 150 (did have Blacksmithing 300, but gave it up for Skinning, made NO gold whatsoever out of BS)

Our guild are looking for new recruits btw, mainly low-mid lvl (10-50/60).
We're a new guild, friendly (4 of us are pretty much RL friends), and we plan on PVE soon...but we don't know when...

BS is the second best endgame profession in the game, plus when you start making 70-80 armor, the gold just flows in.

yeah, i know. HOWEVER, i'm not at endgame yet, so i'm just making gold the best way i know now, then i'll switch at endgame and powerlevel it back again...AND i'll have to buy back all the friggin Plans that i had etc etc... bleh.

Mining would be the best gathering profession for making gold. On the majority of servers that I have looked at, copper sells for more than cobalt and saronite. Then there is thorium and mithril prices, which are always ridiculous. The only worthwhile selling point from skinning is arctic fur and you can't really count on that. Herbalism would be the second best gathering profession.

that may be true for your server, but i'm making a steal on Iron Ore, Throrium Ore and Mithril Ore (not gone to Outlands yet for anything else). and i'm selling low-level leathers for fun, although i do agree its not a major amount of gold, it's still an income.

Ugh skinning and herbalism take ages to level. At least with mining you get to smelt for levelling

PS: Most fun profession is engineering. Exploding sheep anyone ?

hahaha, exploding sheep are extremely fun.

and well, skinning doesnt take that long if you take it as your first profession when you start your char, you just skin everything you see, and mining can take a long time even with smelting, because you only get so many smelts and then it doesnt lvl anymore. i'm lvl 51 and only got mining to 255 (admitedly i haven't mined til my hands are dust..)
