Thread: Kefka's tower

    Default Kefka's tower

I appreciate all the advice I recieved in my last thread. Thank you. Ive been playing this on and off for like 3 years now...I just want it to end. I beat like 4 and 5 in one years time....
I split into 3 parties. One party is on a switch in a room with a big door, and weights resting on a higher level that I currently cant reach. In this room there is a switch on each side. I have gotten the 2 parties out of 3 onto those switches, and the door opens. One of those 2 parties, I hit an empty crate, that was actually a switch of sorts, and a stair case formed on the "terrain" .

Then, I dont know if you remember but the party that is hardly used by this point...that party I found a room that looks like the factory . On on side I stand and on the other side there is a stair case, but in between me and the stair case is a block , so it renders the room pointless and it just pisses me off. I cant find the stair case mentioned in the paragraph above this one. When looking for it I just end up back at the drop off point...and I hate the frequent monster attacks here, atleast I can run away from some of them. :rolleyes2

I dont know where to go and the whole thing is getting real old.

I have the big door open, but I dont know how to get the player to it. All the stupid walk through says that if I just follow the path from the extraction point that i will get to my other party members? Am I just missing the path or are there more switches to be flipped? What?

Well. I'd help you out here, but I can't for two reasons. The first being that you'll need to be more specific for anyone to help you out. Include pictures if possible. The other reason being that I don't remember the details about the tower. I remember the general layout, but the details elude me. Maybe, if you include pictures, I can help you.

    Thank you for that.

The above is similar to what i have already accomplished, I am playing the PSX version so screens wouldnt be so easy.
My other party is lost sort of speak I have no idea where to go . I dont think I will be able to share enough info either...so I guess Im on my own unless someone has amazing abilities to find out where in the game I am at, remembers and all that.

    Thanks anyways.

There are weights above where your characters are standing. The object of this part is to push the weights onto the switches so your characters don't have to stand there anymore.

TIP: Your characters can't be standing on a switch or the weight won't fall. You don't want to crush them, do you?

I just beat the game . It was a great game. The ending has a lot of class, although few of my party died at the end, and I thought the battle was fairly easy, it was a great game considering the battles that came before it and my low supply of ethers and the like.

I kept sharing my greatest weapons with the other parties. That was a good move, and I would pass around the gem box. I am so happy that you guys helped me through the magic tower because it paid off amazingly swell.

I made my noobs in the game into heros, and that took some thinking. I enjoyed the ending fairly much. Very good game. I have now beat 4,5,6,7,10,12

I still have alot more games to beat and I am excited to play them all. I was almost through 9 but I lost all my saves...

Anyways back on topic, the ending had alot of class, and even though the fight with Kefka was my easiest boss battle that I ever had , the battle still had great emotional significance and class art.

    BRAVO.
