when I was 3 and had to get a flu shot for pre-school, I kicked, screamed, and bawled like a baby. However, that's the only time I've ever had a real reaction to shots. Now, the only thing I do is clench my eyes shut when the nurse is about to stick the needle in, but that's it. It doesn't hurt at all ^-^ The only time I've felt side effects was when I was in 7th grade and had to get a Hep. B shot (I think it was) for 8th grade. That made my entire arm sore =/
I do have a high tolerance for pain though, so that could be part of the needle thing. When I had a wart on my elbow, I went to the doctor to get it removed and he used liquid nitrogen. I didn't even flinch when he was using it, and my doctor was amazed by this, apparently. He said "Wow, you're tough! Grown men even complain when I use this on warts, but you're not making a sound. Does that even hurt a bit?" When I told him no, he was in awe![]()
