Beware of my look a like!
They werent the statues themselves, they just had the story of the statues written on them, so they dont hold the balance of the world either, they should have really clarified that in the game. I thought that for a while too. If you go back after the continent thing starts floating, theyre probably still there.
Kefka's coming, look intimidating!
Have a nice day!!
Are you reffering to the three gold statues that you see before the third battle with Ultros? If you are, it is explained that the gold ones are just replicas. The big ones are the real goddeses, or warring triad, depending on which game you are playing.( Original, anthologies or advance)
I thought they was 1 goddess and the rest were like gods

I don't think they clarify it in the game as who is a goddess or god, I think they just called them the goddesses.

Yeah the statues are just in the cave as like some kind of worship for the goddess' seeing as most the people who were ever allowed in that cave where the magi's and such. I think Strago or someone said that the cave was sacred, I'd assume it was because it was a place of worship or something.
I still think it is even funnier, that they changed holy to perl in the SNES version to comply with Nintendo's lame standards, and the named the warring triad "The Godesses" *facepalm* It makes no sense to me.
Those gold things are ciddies, actually.
