    1. Do you have your video drivers installed?
    2. Is your video card OpenGL compatable?

    I would also recommend checking out the Urban Terror forums, searching for that error, as I'd imagine you're not the only one to have come across it.

    Try running it in windowed mode and/or with a lower resolution. Looks like the engine isn't supporting your high resolution.

    Odd... just noticed I can start a normal game fine but when I choose the LAN option it decides to bugger up. I changed the resolution to a more modest 1024x768 and it's still happening.

    EDIT: 8800 GTS & latest drivers have been downloaded.

    Buggy drivers, maybe. Sounds like something you should address to the devs to see if they know what's up.

    I got a solution!!!!!!!!!

    HAHA i just joined so i can post this, i am not really into ff... But who cares!
    You must first: Open Urban Terror (or any other quake related game) and then press ALT+ENTER quickly before the error comes up!
    You will then play normally
