Desk Cleanout

So today I decided to clean out my desk area.

And that's only some of it, there's another pile on the table next to me. It's been a long job of 'keep or throw' and putting what I didn't want in a carrier bag.

It was all going well until I found a huge pile of paper full of random old school work, drawings and endless bank statements. So I put on some Bach and listened to a few violin concertos to ease the atmosphere while I shoved these stupid statements from a bank account that I don't really use into this bag.

I was getting pretty annoyed with these statements telling me I've gained a few pennies of interest. £2.58, £2.59, £2.61, £2.63 etc. Now I've realised why I don't clean out my desk very often. I was going to have a mini bonfire but it decided to rain

So then, how often do you clean your desk out?
