Default Wanted: Singer for Final Fantasy IV Remake

    AllRPG - Latest News

Square Enix is currently auditioning people to sing the song “Theme of Love” in the upcoming remake of Final Fantasy IV. According to Weekly Famitsu, the company is only looking at Japanese citizens of at least 18 years of age. Applications can be sent until July 31 and further details can be found on the DS game’s website.

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

I find it weird that they'd be doing auditions for this.

I'm guessing that the song is going to be a duet. I wonder what the lyrics will be like though.

Maybe they just want to be innovative and launch a new talent's career instead of hiring whoever's popular at the time like Hollywood is doing for movie soundtracks.

If only I were Japanese, at least 18 years of age, and could sing.
    I'd be rolling in dough.

Dear god please let the singer be good, last thing we need is a one hit flop such as the ones from X factor or american idol >_< I wonder what Utada Hikaru would have sounded like singing this.

Thanks to White for the sig <3

I also hope that if they do an English version of the song, the vocalist's pronunciation won't suck. I've had enough of Faye Wong, KAZCO and Mr. Goo to last a friggin' lifetime.

Agreed. If the singer has a crappy English pronunciation, just do like FFX and keep the frigging song in Japanese. The original songs are always better, anyway.

They should do an American Idol style reality show for the audition.
Signature removed for exceeding the 250 pixel height limit.
