"...eyes on FF". Hahah.
I think the writers found this site and decided to reference it on television. That way, they could laugh at the inevitable thread that would arise concerning said reference.
I bet they're laughing at us right now...
THAT'S A MEAN THING TO DO :kaocry2:
I made us all look silly
Oh yeah, I remember this. You know, I read this interview with Sakaguchi talking about how he would scan forum topics on Blue Dragon to see what the public thought of it. On my Xenosaga forum, the lead designer for the U.S. website joined just to see our topic on what we thought of the site's design, too (she's an administrator at the official forums for that game trilogy, so clearly not fake).
Anyway, the point I'm getting at: it's not like people on television or behind the games don't know about the internet. I'm not saying it was a reference, but this is a big Final Fantasy site, and it's not unbelievable that it was either. Out of all the people that have to work at G4, I can only imagine more than one has found this place. Especially with how much they make fun of Final Fantasy, I would think they want to see fans go crazy over it while they eat cheetos.
Makes you wonder who's reading what you write .
Edit: Oh, for the actual final-sentence topic, no.
It was a reference to this site. And not to make fun of it!
They didn't call it EoFF, and therefore fail.
there was a picture here
It was a mere coincidence that is all...
Nope, can't say I have. I don't watch TV in the summer because my favourite shows are between seasons.
It could be a coincidence, but she did put a lot of emphasis on the phrase.
"...have had their EYES ON FF for..."
i saw that video before it got removed but i really cant remember how eoff was mentioned
If I was like Cloud I don't think I would have taken that test.
Changed to stop Jessweeee♪ from going insane. Is that better?
Maybe they just meant it as the exact same pun as the site's title, referencing "Eyes On Me".
Of the long list of FF websites your REALLY thinking that they mentioned this in a TV program? I think that is very unlikey this place is popular but not THAT popular it was just another over enthusiastic buzz word on the part of the presenter.
