I doubt I'll ever be a regular or an oldbie at this forum. I can't be nothered to make long posts.
I don't think time is the correct way to measure oldbieness. I think smell is the way to go.
Newbie: smells like fried chicken
Regular: smells like wood

It's times like this I knew my original join date, which I'm pretty sure was late 2000. regardless. you can't just BECOME an oldbie once you hit a certain anniversary of your registration. it's more of a character thing. either you are (RSL) or you aren't (demondude55). there's probably a certain length of time after december 5, 1999 that constitutes guaranteed oldbie status, too.
I hearby anoint myself 'Grand Lordmaster General of the People', a title that is equaly as valid as this 'Oldbie'. The requirements to being a 'Grand Lordmaster General of the People' are simple, you must be me.
As a 'Grand Lordmaster General of the People', I am super cool and get to join the 'Grand Lordmaster General of the People' club, the most exclusive club EVER. I'll probably start my own spinoff forum, call it something witty, then shut it down due to inactivity because it's just that goddamn exclusive.
If I understand the logic of these other groups correctly, this makes me the coolest guy in the world ever.
