Is it really iifa tree? Or Lifa tree?

In the game its written as lifa Tree. I always used to think of it it as Lifa, because I just assumed that the fact that the L was not in caps was for some other strange reason, and besides iifa tree sounded dumb to me.
But I guess it really IS iifa....
So can someone tell me what the ACTUALL name is. I also included a poll for people to choose how they pronounce it, on the small chance that other people are actually confused about this too.

It is Iifa. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Look at any official source, and it is Iifa.

lol ok, I completed FFIX three times and never botherd to properly check it up.
For me Iifa is a pet peeve, it sounds horrible, Lifa or maybe even Tifa would have sounded better.
Meh, as long as its not voice casted, ill think of it as Lifa .

it's definitely Iifa. sometimes it looks like Tifa when with the cursive letters. i dislike fonts where it's hard to tell apart a capital "I" and an "l" since it is confusing...

It's Iifa, it says it at the beginning of the game if you leave the controller after the 'Squaresoft' appears. It would probably make more sense if it was 'Lifa' but....it's not.
On another note I also thought it was 'Tifa' when I first saw it

It's Iifa Tree, with a caps "i". I had a thread about that once, with a lot of screenshots where you could see both "I" and "l" in the same sentence, and the first letter of Iifa was definitely "I", not "l". I pronounce it "ee-fah" myself. With Finnish pronouncing, I'd pronounce Lifa as "lee-fah" (the same with Tifa/tee-fah), but "life-ah" is plain hard to pronouce.
