    well i wanted to bring up that it wasn't a revolution - there was no overthrow of a system nor of a ruling class, it was the fulfillment of what was already the ruling class in america, with the exact same system of government being implemented. It wasn't a war for freedom and liberty, it was an opening for the bitter middle class of europe to finally manifest all of their secular enlightenment ideals into the world's first Liberal Democracy.

    My favorite Revolution is the French Revolution. My favorite Civil War? Probably the Spanish Civil War. Because I don't really know of any others besides the American one, and that was boring to learn about.

    Me 'n my family usually celebrate with a cookout 'n then going out to watch fireworks, but doesn't look like that's happening tonight. Not that I mind, I'm not in a celebratory mood today.
