Are you sure about that? The first 5 Final Fantasies really revolve around collecting crystals and involve destroying the "darkness" about to claim the world. Although, as I recall, FFIV does have a plot. Please don't take the way that I hope you don't.Originally Posted by Xurts

Like most Final Fantasies, I was addicted to FFIX and wouldn't stop until I did EVERYTHING. And I did.However, I really just don't think FFIX has anything special and different from most other FF's. I guess another reason why I don't think it's a very good representation of a Final Fantasy game is it's story. I just don't think it's epic enough as the others. I really didn't feel anything when I first beat the game.
