Default Question about getting the PAL/International version of FFX

Hello, I live in the US so when I bought and beat FFX and then found out that I missed out on a few extras since the dark aeons/penance only appear in the international/PAL versions of the game, I was a little disappointed. Well now I'm hoping to get my hands on such a copy, but I've heard you need some sort of mod chip to play such a game for a US PS2...I was wondering whether this is true or not and if it is how would i get a hold of such a mod chip?

    Any help would be appreciated.

The use of a modchip is illegal in the United States of America, because of the digital millennium copyright act.

But yes, you need a modchip or swap magic discs. I personally recommend a modchip. However, it's not simply a matter of finding one, you also need someone to install it, unless you're a master at soldering. Ask tech savvys around where you live where to get one, and to install it for you.
