Is it just me, or is it that in most FFX fanfics and other general areas of the fandom, people like to put Rikku and Auron together?

Is it because they actually think the two make a good couple, or just because Rikku and Auron get left out when Yuna gets paired with Tidus and Wakka gets paired with Lulu?

...What do you think about them?
