My friend and I got into an argument about how much HP Chaos had. I insisted it was 4000, while he maintained 2000. I said, "You wanna bet?"
He said, "Sure."
I said, "Name your wager."
He said, "$10."
So, after the bet was placed and we shook hands, I opened the Final Fantasy Origins guide which clearly stated he had 4000 HP.
So, in retaliation, he goes to an internet FAQ site, which stated Chaos had 2000 HP.
So, I take the DVD of my victory of the game and add up the damage I did to Chaos with a calculator who falls after 4000 HP of damage.
He goes to another FAQ which states 2000 and offers to take a draw stating that the reason we don't agree is that it was 2000 on NES and 4000 on PlayStation. I queried as to why they would make him so easy in the NES version when he was way too easy in the PlayStation version anyway, stating that there was no way he could possibly be as easy as 2000 HP.
Long story short, I took the draw. Was I wrong to do this? Did I actually win this bet? What do you think?
