    Default Best Victory Fanfare Theme

Okay, I know they all have a similar theme, but which game has the best sounding Victory Fanfare Theme? (I'm not including FF11, because it doesn't really have one...)

    FF7, FF10, and FF10-2 are my favorites...

Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI. The original tune was the best and it sounded better on the SNES than the NES. Yeah, I know Final Fantasy IX had the original tune, but it also had the new one and the game picked one of the two at random. Or so I remember anyway.

Final Fantasy VII not only reinvented and revolutionized the victory fanfare theme for other Final Fantasys, but thereafter impacted the very soul of every and any game to be released—even (especially?) games without a victory fanfare theme. Hell, when loosened, I often admit Final Fantasy VII’s victory fanfare theme was the very inspiration for the universe itself... of course, by the time, I also claim to have invented the walnut.

Final Fantasy VI's victory theme is my favorite.

Yeah, I've gotta go with FFVI myself. Not that any were particularly bad or irritating or anything, just my personal favourite.

If I was like Cloud I don't think I would have taken that test.

Aren't I and II exactly the same? Maybe not. I like the good old classic one. It's so cheerful, exactly the type of sound that encaptivates the feeling of marching victorious from battle

I loved IX's if only for the music that plays afterward.

I liked the uplifting fanfares in FFs IV-VI and the fanfare in FFVII, but my favorite fanfare is from FFIX, which has the old-school melody, but the musical style is more like in FFs VII and VIII. The choral fanfare in FFXII is also enjoyable even if it plays only after boss fights.

It didn't. FFIX only has one fanfare theme, the one that I described above.

Something about FF5's fanfare really stuck with me, thus causing me to pick that one... I think because it was the inbetweener for the orchestral one in 4 and the more rock one in 6.

Speaking of orchestral fanfares, I noticed that the orchestra-style victory fanfare in FF Tactics is quite enjoyable too.

    I think FFIX's is best.

Personally, I find FFVII's pretty uninspiring and I havnt heard FFVI's.

FFVIII's was the best for me, followed by VII.
