Well i use everybody, i guess i'll post what i got them as, most of the equipment is the best you can get before pharos. I'm finishing as many hunts as i can(until i get bored with it), so i've equipped active party members with gold amulets and they've all gained license points like crazy. It think most of them have all augments covered, all quickenings, and are sitting with about 2k LP on hand to use each. Right now they're all about level 45.

Vaan - Dragoon (Holy Lance, heavy armor before Ridornas) mostly attacks

Balthier - Engineer (guns, light armor, time magic, libra)

Fran - Archer/Black Mage (bow &arrows, light armor, black magic)

Basch - Knight (Greatswords, heavy armor, some white magic)

Ashe - Dark Knight? (Sword & Shield, Heavy Armor, thinking about giving her soul eater and some dark magic)

Penelo - Dark Mage (bombs, mystic armor, dark spells, some white to use against undead and things like esuna and such)

the dark mage is like my little class i've come up with that's going pretty good so far.
