Dragon Quest Remakes

Is it just me, or is there a huge disparity between the remakes for this company's two flagship series???

I'm trying to get into DQ (got real hooked on VIII) and I was wondering if there were any GBA remakes for it. I was surprised to see that my gamestop search came up w/ nothing. Okay, maybe I didn't try all that hard, but I was wondering if anyone had the info on when/how these games have been remade.

Try Dragon Warriors.

I believe that was the original name and there were some for the GBC and/or GBA

Out of the main series, DQI-III have been remade for the SNES and Gameboy Colour. There is also a cell phone version of the original DQ. DQIV was remade for the PSX and DQV was remade for the PS2. Out of all of those, only the GBC remakes of I-III have seen a English localizations. Their are numerous sites that are working on fan-translations for all of them though.

No GBA ports for any of the main games as far as I know.

That good ol' DW4 ROM has been keeping me busy.

Quite possibly the best NES released game ever, IMO.
