I'm up to Zozo. I'm savouring my moments there!!
So any tips?

Just the first time on GBA. The furthest I've got on Playstation is the Floating Continent.

because i accidentally went back to the airship which means i have to go through all that weird maze all over again

It's not that hard. Just make sure you don't use magic on that pole you fight on the way out after fighting Atma Weapon. I killed myself casting Fire3 on it four times before waiting to see if the first one reflected back. Made me have to fight Atma Weapon again. Funny thing is that he was much easier the first time.

I don't see why you'd want to leave Zozo, we love you, we want you and your various items all that you can bring to zozonian society!

Although I must say, that you should go see the Opera it's smashing. Just like Jidoor is, just in the less on-fire-right-now kind of way.

I'm back up to the floating continent already. I'm just before Atma Weapon (If that's still it's name) My team is:
Celes: Mainly for Casting offensive spells and also has protect and Shell
Terra: In the back row. Used for Healing and attacking (Two flail type things)
Locke: Used for buffing and attacking. (Has theif's dagger so I don't have to worry about stealing)
Shadow: One of the best characters. Excellent for speed and throwing things.

I usually equip weapons on Terra and Celes that increase their Magic attribute as they tend to be magic users for me.

You lack the two characters I always take there, Edgar/Sabin or Edgar/Mog...
Who can defy the only moogle who can dance AND hold a spear at the same time? Really...

I got the Gold Hairpin instead of Mog and I had taken Edgar everywhere so I decided to take Terra instead of him. She's better anyway.

Besides the Floating Continent is long behind me. I'm in the World of Ruin just doing my own thing. I have Celes, Sabin, Edgar, Setzer, Cyan, Terra, Mog and Umaro. I'm getting some spells for everyone on the Veldt (Don't level there so it makes it easier) I only take three characters in case I bump into Gau.
