Mrhm... Have you been able to find it? I sure haven't... Gosh darn.

What?
I think he might be saying that a guide for ff1 doesn't exist.
Yeah, the NES version had the awesome guide with the instruction booklet because games were cool enough to give the strategy guide with the game back then.
The PS1 version did have a guide, I believe.
The GBA version had a guide, I have it lying around somewhere around here.
Not sure about the PSP version, if that's what you're referring to. You'd best try this: Video Game Cheats - Video Game Reviews - Video Game Codes - Video Game Web Site - GameFAQs
I don't think the PS1 version came with the guide, I'll check.
The PS1 version's guide is actually the Final Fantasy Origins guide. It's by Brady Games, but I don't know how available it is anymore. If there's anything I've learned the past few months about out of print guides, however, is that you can get them if you try hard enough. I bought my Origins guide when I bought the game, though. So, I don't know if it is out of print, but the Chronicles guide is, so one would assume.
mmm... The guide DOES is exist... I made sure by calling EB games, however every EB games that I call say "Its weird, we ordered the guides the same day the game cam out, but they aren't here." EVERY STORE. Suspicious....

Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

For the NES version Nintendo Power magazine came out with an issue that was a complete strategy guide for one of their monthly issues.
...
You back with us now Martyr? We've missed you.
Anyways, I was thinking of recording a run through the game with my favourite party, intended to teach first time players how to finish it, probably doing voiceover for the whole thing so it's not as boring.
To be fair the reason why the original FF1 came with a guide is because you'd be hard pressed to figure out what the hell all the different spells did and who could/couldn't equip all the different armours and weapons without extensive experimentation.
There is no signature here. Move along.
Also because the translation sucked ass. LIT? FOG2? BANE? What does BANE do?* BAN th fifth lttr of th alphabt?
*I know what BANE does, don't quote me with a smart-ass reply please.
