    I remember the Nintendo Power guide....I had that when I got the game for the nes when it came out.......the FF Origins guide is a good one, I used it for my last playthrough..

    Yeah, I own all that. I unfortunately was very young when I got it for my birthday (1991, I believe) so I decided I needed a moustache and beard on the Black Belt's face.

    And the profile of the Green Ogre in this guide, the picture of the Ogre is upside down. That's funny stuff when you're 5 or 6 years old.

    It had all that stuff because the game was published in America by Nintendo, who were willing to pull the necessary stops to try to sell an RPG to Americans in 1990.
