Thread: Grim Grimoire

    Default Grim Grimoire

I've been playing this game for a few days, it's from Vanillaware, the same guys who made Odin Sphere and it's published by Nippon Ichi, so you just know it's gotta be good. I feel like I'm addicted, I love the strategy, love how each of the magics are weak against one yet strong against another, but still able to put up a fight against the magic that is stronger then it.

I also love the characters. Advocat especially. This guys got a Jack Sparrow meets metaphistacles type of cool going on. He's easily my newest favorite character in an RPG.

Has anyone else tried out this awesome title? It could be one of the last, truly awesome PS2 games.

It's a good game overall, but once you can make Dragons/Chimeras it becomes way to easy.

It's pretty fun so far. Summoning elves is my favorite part.

I know of it, and haven't played it. Once I get an account on Netflix, I'll rent this game when I get some time. I'll rent Odin Sphere also. The game seems alright, don't know much about it.
