Default Does anyone know how to install a flip top on a slim PS2?

OK, I have looked all over the net, and everywhere I go, all the slim Ps2have like a million screws on the bottom to unscrew and take apart ur Ps2 and put a flip top on. But mine doesn't, there isn't one damn screw on it, anywhere. So is there a way to install it or do I have to buy these stupid little key things I see everywhere. But the keys weren't in the description that I needed if I bought the flip top which I did?

I've never heard of a PS2 without screws on the bottom. Both of my Slimline PS2s have 6 screws, but they're covered by plastic and rubber squares which you need to pry off to access the screws. Does yours have those?

Can you attach a photograph of your PS2?

Ok, Im not sure how good this photo will turn out, but here is a pic that I just made. I just scanned the bottom of my PS2 to show you.

I think I know the parts you talk about to wedge out, but will they go back on? I was gonna try to take them off but I am too afraid of screwing up my PS2 because that would be my luck. Here is a link to it on photobucket, it won't upload on here, sorry its so big.

Correct, those are exactly what I was talking about.

Just use a flathead screwdriver. You pretty much can't break the rubber ones, and the plastic ones will be fine as long as the tip of the screwdriver is 1mm or less in thickness. Once you get them off, they just clip back in easily. They're not held there by adhesive or anything perishable.

From there you can check out the guide on swapmagic3.com which has detailed pictorial instructions. The only thing I want to say is don't knock the laser at all. I've ruined a few PS2s that way.
