I think my squad could do with a fair bit of change actually. I know that by doing so I'll doom myself to bottom place for the rest of the season, but my defence could be improved, I think. Can't complain with my midfield really as it's generally consistent. I'm really surprised I've done so well, though I know it shan't last.

Terrible week for me, with my captain Van Persie missing that penalty against City. I was almost tempted to use my wild card now, and give my squad a revamp, but I think that's best saved for a couple of months into the season, when we've got a clear idea of how teams and players are likely to perform. Until then, I'm going to have to be content with mid-table.
I have a habit of cursing players (Leadbitter, Rooney, Ronaldo, Van Persie my latest victim', etc) and I've signed up Richards now - sorry, City fans.

Hehe... for once I come up with a decent week.
I've had to make a change every week so far: N'Zogbia for Gilberto, Hleb for Kewell, Taylor for Carvalho and Nani for Carsley. Not sure whether to promote Neill to the first XI. He'll probably rotate with Taylor depending on who has the easier upcoming match. Taylor edges it for now.
And switched my captaincy from Dukes to Torres. I'm hoping the former gets a hatful against Derby and Dukes may be warming the bench if Owen gets a start.
I'm coming back into my own now.

No goals, but an assist from each of my strikers stops this week from being a total disaster. Maybe if Gilberto started taking our penalties again, it could even have been pretty good. Oh well...

I've now got a plan for my team and I'm slowly putting it together. It involves replacing one or two midfielders, three defenders and possibly a goalkeeper. But I'll get it done! Over six game weeks!

Took a bit of a risk and made three transfers this week (Speed -> Noble, Martins -> Torres, Zamora -> Forssell) which I think will make my team somewhat better. Two of those were just changes to subs that I thought I'd do now or I'll forget later. Speed being replaced in the starting line-up by Taylor who I had as a sub for some reason. Made these changes with an eye being dragged kicking and screaming from first position at as late a date as possible.

I think it's great how United and Chelsea are bottom of the fans league. xD
My best week so far. Spending a few points on transfers proved worth it, with each of the players (except Anelka) earning me back the points I spent, and then some. Still a long way to go before I can catch The Captain, though.
