Um, put the CD in and then click Install the Game?

keep removing the files it says are corrupted. Make a list (rom included) and we'll see if we can copy and send you the files that are missing / tempered with. You'll have to manually insert them in the files.

Have you been .dat tempering? Happened to me once when I accidentally deleted lvl 21 head gear and I kept crashing in lower Jeuno ;/

If you swapped .dats, gimme a list of the ones you changed and the Rom, I can copy you the files and you can put them back in. If you haven't been keeping tack, you're SOL buddy and you'll need to reformat your hard drive to get rid of FFXI to reinstall :P
    Too big.

To the person that told me to delete system32, thanks a lot...

Now I have to get a new harddrive because the system32 file is "corrupted..."

Luckily, my computer is under warranty...

No one told you to delete that! You should never randomly delete files. Move them to another folder if you want to get rid of them. I hope everything gets fixed.

You shouldn't need to get a new PC just because system32.dll is missing. It should be possible to fix it by using the windows XP recovery console to copy it back into the right folder. Ask some computer literate guy in your class or something. It's hella faster than getting a new machine. Plus, all your stuff will still be there.

If you are unable to find someone who knows how to do this, I could try walking you through it.

Or just shove the Windows CD into drive before turning your computer on, booting off it and following the recovery process Also deleting sys32.dll is a pretty big achievement xD
